Our Universal Supplier Service (USS) has been developed to deliver a highly automated managed data service (optionally supported by field services) for all key industry interoperability processes.
The USS managed service enables Morrison Data Services and Utiliteam to negotiate the maze of complex industry interoperability processes on behalf of energy suppliers. USS significantly reduces the complexities of operating as a licensed energy supplier within the competitive energy market.
The USS market messaging system (MMS) software is maintained and continuously improved by Utiliteam, whilst the USS Managed Service (which is included within the bundle is Non Half-Hourly Data Collection & Data Aggregation Supplier Hub Services) is operated by a team of Morrison Data Services data specialists; fully supported by the Morrison Data Services pedestrian meter reading and associated value adding services.
USS is a truly unique ‘bundled’ service unavailable elsewhere in the market.

USS was established in 2012, initially as an electricity only market messaging system (MMS). In 2015, joint investment and development of the service facilitated a leading-edge dual-fuel MMS operating model. Our dual-fuel MMS is fully aligned with other industry defined data services such as the Morrison Data Services Supplier Hub services, Non Half Hourly Data collection and Data aggregation (NHHDC, NHHDA) which are backed by the UK’s best meter reading service.
